Hi, I’m Diana Vladu - a multilingual actress fortunate to have trained both classically and ‘on the job’ in equal measure.

Early on, I thought I preferred ‘studio lights’ to natural light. After a while, I found out I prefer the natural light carefully chosen by the directors and DOPs with whom I’ve worked to natural light per se. Now, I ‘ve learned that I embrace all light and everything it chooses to show.

Similarly, as a professional, I am prepared for what life offers: from the smallest role in an independent arts film, or a smile in a commercial for pregnancy nutrition, to a half-season guest star in a show distributed on one of the biggest digital platforms in the United States. I treat them all with equal emotional and professional intensity because I respect and value being part of the creative process.

A mom, a star reader, an actress: my joy is to live everyday as a continuing ‘casting call’ for all the roles I’ve been blessed to be given.
